THE PANACHE OF THE PAST
HOMAGE TO HERITAGE
Tissot is inspired by its great history with the elegant Tissot Heritage 2018, which looks back to a wristwatch that was part of the Tissot collection in 1943. Originally a men’s watch for the city, it was a dapper and resilient choice thanks to its case made from nickel-chromium alloy with a small second, and 27 mm calibre, a Tissot exclusivity. Furthermore, this watch was part of the iconic Tissot Antimagnétique collection, launched in the 1930s and comprising the first non-magnetic wristwatches in the world.
THE HERITAGE PETITE SECONDE 2018
A MODERN UPDATE
TToday’s contemporary models pay tribute to the past with its design. The new Tissot Heritage 2018 adheres to the same principles as the original models but uses today’s new production technologies, for the highest possible quality.
A domed dial, silver and vertically brushed with the Tissot logo of that time, reflects the past, demonstrating that attention has been paid to every single detail. The ‘box’ type antireflective sapphire glass is more commonly seen on high-end watches, while leaf-shaped hands and a black vegetable leather strap with folding clasp and a Heritage logo will make a stylish statement. A mechanical movement with manual winding, and luxurious finishes such as the blue screws and Côtes de Genève and Heritage logo, all ensure smooth running and give a beautifully luxurious touch.
THE HERITAGE VISODATE QUARTZ
DYNAMISM MEETS NOSTALGIA
Today’s Tissot Visodate Quartz has its roots in a long history of innovation. Inspiration for this timepiece comes from watches released in the 1950s when Tissot celebrated its centenary. A milestone of that era was the integration of a date display into the mechanism. “Viso” and “date” directly translates to “see the date”. The new Heritage Visodate Quartz collection presents this feature in eye-catching contemporary designs.
A gently-curved dial mirrors the domed sapphire glass, both designed to showcase the clearly visible date. With faceted hands and indices, attention has been paid to every single detail. Historical Tissot logos on the dial, case back, crown and buckle are a bridge between the past and present. To stay true to previous models, the design of the case and horns remained identical. Additionally, a Milanese or leather strap makes for a stylish statement.
A WALK THROUGH TRADITION
The roadshow also features latest collections like the Tissot Ballade, with its revolutionary Powermatic 80 movement characterized by the silicon balance spring, and the Tissot Chemin des Tourelles Blue, the utmost expression of Tissot’s history and expertise. Another highlight includes the Tissot Chrono XL Classic, an urban contemporary sports watch. The exhibition space continues back in time to the heritage collections where you can rediscover the origins of the brand.
