WATCH SERVICING AND MAINTENANCE

Regular maintenance is essential to ensure that your watch functions correctly. The lubrication in the movement parts will deteriorates and eventually dries up after certain time. When it happens, friction will generate and thus affect the precision in telling time.

Acid leakage of the battery could also damage your watch movement and the aging of gasket in particular will also adversely affect the water-resistance of a watch. Further more, everyday wear can as well cause your watch part worn out or damaged and requires a replacement/ restoration.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

We recommend to replace the battery of your watch every 1.5 to 2 years to prevent acid leakage that could damage the movement. We do not recommend trying to replace the battery yourself, as the internal movement can be damaged in the process.

General Operations:

  • Battery Check
  • Inspect Condition of Movement
  • Battery Replacement
  • Check on Gasket
  • Case Back Closure
  • Time and Date Setting

MAINTENANCE / COMPLETE OVERHAUL

If your watch is noticeably fast or slow, the movement / mechanism may need to be serviced.

We recommend a maintenance service to check your watch movement (for mechanical watches), battery (for quartz watches) and replace new gaskets every 1.5 to 2 years.

To optimize the reliability and well-functioning of your valuable timepiece, a complete overhaul service is recommended every 3 to 5 years.

WATCH PART REPLACEMENT

Overtime, everyday wear can cause your watch part worn out or damaged; requiring a replacement to keep your watches in good working order. If you notice your watch stopped or doesn’t work properly, bring it for a diagnostic immediately.

We have a variety of watch parts such us Crown / Stem / Gasket / Pin / Screw / Spring Bar / Crystal Stone etc for replacement.

WATCH BAND/ STRAP REPLACEMENT

Due to rubbing and general wear and tear, your watch band / strap undergo a normal wearing process that affects their strength and shine. You can also create a new look by replacing your watch band/straps to other colours and styles for a unique customisation.

To determine which band / strap size you need, measure the distance in millimeters between the lugs on your watch case. Pick your favourite from our wide selection of genuine leather, rubber, nylon and bracelet band / strap.

WATCH POLISHING

Due to everyday use, your watch tends to lose its like-new luster and shine over time. Scratches and scuff marks will also develop on the case and bracelet.

Watch polishing will help to remove scratches and restore your watch to its shine. The polishing of your case and bracelet depends on the model, the material of the case / bracelet and the state of your watch.
